Delicious

A couple days ago, my sister insisted we go eat lunch at O' Boys BBQ. After hearing the word BBQ, I really didn't want to go, the only restaurant I wouldn't mind getting my hands dirty at is Ale House. But it turns out that the restaurant wasn't so bad after all. Tiffany had the hand-pulled pork sandwich and I had a char-grilled chicken sandwich w/ garlic bread and it was delicious! Their sauce goes perfect with anything, and the booths that we sat in were so comfortable. This is also a great spot for large parties because this seating arrangements were meant for families. I've always past by this restaurant but never thought of stopping by for a quick bite. I should of known that this was going to be a great restaurant considering where it's located. So if you're one of those people who love to eat at Smokey Bones, then you must give this place a try.

Loves to check out new places,

Good morning upper east siders

Current addicting television show: Gossip Girl

If you enjoy watching the lifestyle of the rich and fabulous, then this is the show for you. The dramatic content in this show is insane, although it doesn't compare to the other dramas I've seen. Not only do I enjoy feeling envious of these people while watching the show, but I love, love, love, love, to look at all the cool outfits the girls wear. Oops, I didn't mean to over exaggerate.

Don't worry, there's still time to watch all the episodes. Just visit here: http://www.surfthechannel.com/show/television/Gossip_Girl.html

If some of the links doesn't work on the previous website, then go here:

I'd like to warn beforehand that once you start watching the show, you might not be able to stop. It's a bad addiction.

This is just way too cute.

Blank stares at blank pages

Featured Artist: Sara Bareilles
Her music is so edgy and powerful. The song that I like the most is, "Love Song". I first heard it from a friend at a Christmas party and I fell in love after that.

If your heart is nowhere in it
I don't want it for a minute
Babe, I'll walk the seven seas when I believe that
There's a reason to
Write you a love song today

Spring Fashion 2008

50's fashion is coming back next year and I am so excited because I love this decade (in terms of fashion). I hear that next season's fashion is going to be focused on colors such as grey, black, white and yellow. And once again, bold jewelry made of plastic of natural materials are still in style. I don't really follow trends every season, but I like to observe them.

Peter Som's Spring 2008 Collection

Scarves are also a hot accessory next season. I normally don't like to wear scarves but the first look (scarf warn around the head) has always been my favorite since I was a child. I was first inspired by watching old movies, for example: Audrey Hepburn in Charade.

Time to part-tea

Screen print was made from Keep Calm Ltd.

It sure does. I'm one of those people who strongly believe that my system can be cleanse by a cup of tea. Also, if you're going to drink tea, please don't rush it. Each sip should be cherished to your enjoyment.

Green Garden of Eden
Sinfully delicious sencha blended with chamomile, hibiscus, calendula & purple mallow flowers reveals a hint of cinnamon spice.

I received a belated christmas gift from one of my favorite people in the world, thank you theresa mai! :) This is one of my favorites at Dandelion Communitea Cafe! If you also share a love for tea, then I strongly suggest that you pay a visit to this delightful cafe. What makes this cafe unique is that the store originated from a home. There are many rooms to seat yourself comfortable in, and if you're with a group of friends then you can play one of the many games they have for their customers. I've never experienced a bad time when I go there, the cafe always had a pleasant ambiance.

The meaning of a flower

thanks to martha stewart, i can view the meaning of a flower from a short list. i love flowers, gardens, and nature in general. that i thank my mom for raising me in a home with a nice garden. unfortunately our gardens were demolished after a couple of years of moving in our current home. i tell everyone who visits my backyard this story because till this day i am still devastated about our loss. gardens are hard to maintain, and unwanted animals/reptiles live in them.

it would be nice if more people started randomly purchasing flowers as gifts. and to buy a flower with the appropriate meaning of the moment would make it even more special. my favorite flowers are tulips and roses, *hint hint*.

I miss you, most at christmas time

at christmas eve mass

this is where i almost fell asleep. i almost couldn't handle sitting in church for an hour, but luckily i made it through with my eyes wide open. i came to church an hour and 30 minutes early because i had just come from work which was 8 minutes away. i was ecstatic because i was one of the first 5 people there to grab seats for my family before the church filled up. christmas mass always seems to be the most crowded service, it seems like every one is trying to make up all their days of not going to church by going to the most important mass of the year. well, this was my first time coming back to vietnamese mass, and i knew it was going to be different this year because of we were having it at our new church..which by the way, i am very impressed with all the hard work it took from the vietnamese catholic community to finally be able to build their own home.

so we were missing my dad & chris in this picture. daddy is working and chris decided to go to church at a different time because all his friends were going to be there. that sounds like something i would of done if i was his age, silly boy.

i was totally excited to go home after christmas mass because this is where my period of relaxation begins! too bad it only lasts until the 26th, and it's off to work again. -_-

Well I hope everyone enjoyed their Christmas Eve and have an even more memorable day tomorrow! As for me, I'm doing nothing. The only thing I really wanted is to sleep in and my wish comes true tomorrow. :)

Although its been said many times, many ways,
A very Merry Christmas to you

The start of something good

ah, it feels refreshing to be able to release your thoughts to a bunch of nothing.

christmas is tomorrow and it doesn't feel like it. when did it ever feel like christmas in florida?

what matters is that i'm happy because i got most of my christmas presents early this year! here are some of the things i received:

Dolce & Gabbana light blue
this i bought for myself, because i think i deserve to spoil myself for working so hard during winter break.

Samsung Black Jack II
my dad buys me a new phone every year, but i still consider this a christmas gift because it's the best thing i've received this month!

Lucky & Vogue
my secret santa, Anna Hoang, bought me magazine subscriptions to my favorite magazines.

Entre Nous: A Woman's Guide to Finding Her Inner French Girl.
Monica bought me two of my FAVORITE books! One of which I cannot release the name right now, but here's a picture of one of the books she got me!

Pretty in Pink
And my secret santa for VASA, Gina, bought me Pink Candie's slippers, a pack of princess lipgloss, and ferrero rocher chocolate *my favorite*.

Winter Break
my vasa em, Gin, bought me a white scarf and a long silver necklace

Fit for Royalty
and my fsa kuya, andrew, bought me this cute heiress crown t-shirt and a pink hoodie, which i haven't opened yet in this picture.

Paris, Je'taime
Janet bought me what I really needed, a hairbrush and a cute top!

Perfection
This is my favorite present of all, my little sister Tiffy knew EXACTLY what to get me and the thing that amazes me was that these items weren't on my wish list.

it's winter break for us students at ucf. and i've been working everyday/all day, and on top of that..i have so many events and things to plan for vasa next semester! i haven't felt like i rested at all this break. my head hurts, really.
