Which is almost done, by the way! I still have a lot more things to tweak it up. Like buying the pillows I want for the futon, finding a decorative bowl & decorative clock, preferably the black silhouette cuckoo clock that is ONLY $17 at target! This is such a rare find because most silhouette clocks run for about $100+. I also saw one on Wal-Mart's website selling for $14.99, but just like Target, all the clocks were sold out. Boo...

1950s fashion
I've been having the urge to dress vintage lately (minus the girdle).
The trends to know: high heels, pencil or swing skirt, shape & volume.

Don't sweat the small stuff
Life would be simpler if we didn't waste our breath and time sweating about unnecessary things. This motto took me awhile to learn and once I finally understood it, I felt much more satisfied with myself. :)

Orlando vs. Memphis
Wow, I haven't been to a basketball game in a while. I used to go all the time with my dad when I was younger. It doesn't seem as it exciting anymore as it used to be. But I still had a fun night nonetheless! Orlando Magic won, yay!
Thai food + good game = happy Krystle

At last
After weeks of trying to save money, I finally went shopping today with my best friend. We spent about 2 hours in the new Forever21 store at Prime Outlets and we felt a little spontaneous..so we decided to go the Forever21 at Millenia Mall just to make sure we bought everything we needed. It would of been nice to catch up with her for dinner afterwards but we both had an appointment at 6PM that we couldn't be late to.
I love those days where you can catch up on all of your errands and have a time left over to treat yourself to whatever you like. I wish I had more of those days..

Intense weekend
I haven't had time to rest or sleep in the past 24 hours. It's not like I haven't done it before, but I felt really bad for being in a such a cranky mood during the Breast Cancer walk this morning. I have work again at 6PM so hopefully I can get some sort of sleep because last night my friends & I got out of work at 3:30AM & then we stayed up to go to community service at 6AM. Tomorrow also looks like it's going to be a long day.

I want it now!
While I was finishing up my daily routine of checking the Forever21 website for new items, I came across a picture with an outfit that was featured in one of the categories. I absolutely adore this look and more importantly, I want the skirt that she's is wearing. And I want it now.

Don't be scared to fall down, because you can always pick yourself back up. Let your wheels guide you and leave all your troubles behind. And these words are what I try to live my life by.

<3
I am filled
with delight so profound
with ecstasy so sweet
with pleasure so deep
the connecting with my beloved
takes me to all the places
and the union
plays rhapsodies in my soul
I can achieve union
when I achieve oneness
with myself
I can dance partnership
when I can dance alone
I can love another
when I can love myself

Time for a change
YES!!
With little convincing, my parents have allowed me to re-paint the
walls of my room. I think they're more lenient about this decision because they're switching out the carpet of my floor with tiles next week.
I was debating on whether or not we should go through with the project because I've thought about moving out sometime in the near future. But I'm also not sure how long I can stand living in a pink room. I might go crazy before I get the chance to move out.
our home will inspire our life.
My mind is coming up with so many ideas right now, and I share a room with my sister so I understand that I have to put her suggestions into consideration as well. I prefer the soft Victorian/Vintage look and she likes the teenager look (bright colors & such).
the inspiration
2. Fabric Sofa: Ikea - $149
3. Decorative Bowl: Target - $14.99
4. Accent Table: Target - $39.99
5. Silhouette Cuckoo Clock: Walmart - $14.99
6. Decorative Pillows: Walmart - $12.88 each
Hopefully I can find a smaller couch to replace the pink one that I have in my room right now. I'm even fine with a comfortable arm chair, as long as it's white. I just need something to sit on when I have time to read leisurely.

Nothing to do
It looks like I'm staying at home tonight.
I'm going to take advantage of this free weekend that I have before my schedule starts to get hectic again. I've been meaning to do a few things at home that I haven't made time for, such as: cleaning up my room, catching up on my recent issues of Vogue and Lucky magazine, and jotting down a couple of thoughts in these cute notebooks that I bought in Korea Town when I was in Atlanta. Why is that everytime I put all of my clothes away, I find twice the amount of clothes on the floor again at the end of week?
It feels really weird to be at home for a long time because I've been out so much lately. And when I come home all I have time to do before I go to sleep is play the piano. I'm almost done with learning how to play At the Cafe from the movie Windstruck! Even though the song is sad, it sounds so beautiful..and that is the kind of music I like to play.

The perfect shoes for Fall!
I been craving these oxford heels lately! And I really like how these shoes can make an outfit look sleek & sophisticated when worn with black tights. And if my feet are tired from walking in heels, I also want to own a pair of oxford flats as well!
