Today I'd like to pay a little tribute to one of my favorite items in my closet: a $14.99 black crewneck cardigan. You may not be made out of cashmere but I still appreciate how you can turn an outfit from looking like trash to class.

My favorite cup
Last Tuesday after my garden party I watched Audrey Hepburn's movie Funny Face and left my blanket on the couch next to a table that had my favorite cup on it. As I was picking up my blanket, I turned around to leave the room and the blanket whipped my cup and it shattered on the table. I was heartbroken because this cup was one of my favorite items from Anthropologie.
The next morning I woke up late to work and because I broke my cup, I used a red party cup to drink juice on my way to work. I hope nobody thought I was drinking alcohol on the highway.. :p

Shopping makes me happy
I bought some cute stuff today at the mall! A tan sweater vest, a black ruffled v-neck wrap dress, and a black sleeveless knit top with a high collar. I've been more cautious about what to buy lately, it's crazy how my style has changed throughout the years. For example, I try to never ever buy t-shirts and tank tops. I think it's okay to have a couple of basic items in my wardrobe but I don't like to repeat buying the same style, especially if it's a basic one. Another tricky temptation that is hard to avoid is buying the current fashion trends. After reading The Little Black Book of Style, I've been inspired to improve my style. Who wants to join me? :)

Made of Honor
Oh yeah! I forgot to mention that somewhere in my super great birthday week, a couple of friends & I went to go see the movie premiere for Made of Honor (which comes out tomorrow!). Monica, Janet & Tiffany decided to wear bridesmaid dresses so that they could enter to win a prize, and thanks to them..because they wore the ridiculously looking dresses..we all got to go inside the theater first to pick out seats and we each got goody bags filled with Made of Honor promotional items! (Eye mask, bubbles, t-shirt, poster) The Orlando Weekly also took a picture of them so hopefully it gets printed out so that we can all see! :) The movie was amazing, I loved every second of it..I encourage everyone to go watch it when it comes out!

My time is up
*Sigh*...the school year is coming to end in about two weeks. I had so much fun this year, so it makes it really hard for me to let go of my duties and truly focus on why I came to college in the first place. Even though I won't be holding any important positions next year, I still wanted to keep myself in the scene by signing up for other things to do for the student organizations! :D I am such a loser.
